This project is to be used after researching the Oregon Trail.  Some good sites for students to peruse prior to this webquest are:

http://www.geocities.com/Broadway/Alley/3765/trailappendix2.html is a play that students enjoy performing.  Full of info!

http://www.isu.edu/~trinmich/Sites.html could be used by assigning each student a site on the trial.  Read about, write a fictitious journal entry about what happened to student at this location, and draw picture illustrating the event.  Upload.

Allow 2 weeks for completion of Independence Missouri Daily News webquest.
