CONGRATULATIONS to the following softball players for receiving academic All-State recognition:  1st Team – Addie Scoggin, Melanee Cunningham, Madison Chapman, Erin St. Gemme, Taylor Friend, Sabrina Tripp; 2nd Team – Bethany Glore.

If you signed up for the April ACT test and your packet gets returned to you in the mail please bring it into the counseling office.  We will be able to send it back without a late fee if we get them mailed off by the end of this week.

JUNIORS & SENIORS:  Voting will take place next week for the Prom Court attendants and candidates.  Only students who have purchased a prom ticket will be listed on the ballot.  Today is the last day to buy prom tickets and receive souvenirs.  Please stop by Mrs. Fletcher’s room today to purchase your ticket.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY:  The Habitat for Humanity workday has been cancelled for tomorrow due to the weather.

Any junior interested in participating in the MAC Pilot Program next year will need to attend a meeting with a parent or guardian on Tuesday, March 16 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium.

STUDENTS:  The votes have been tallied and our students have selected their favorite award nominee.  The winner, with the most votes was Beastly by Alex Flinn.  The state winner will be announced in April.  Thirty-three CHS students participated.  They had to read a minimum of five award nominees to be eligible to vote.  A party is being planned for the students who voted and I'll let you know soon what we are going to do.  Thanks for participating.  I already have the nominees for the 2010-2011 school year if you want to get started on next year's reading!  Thanks!
